Ran out of gas? How emergency fuel delivery works
What to do when you run out of fuel, and how Shynit brings enough to get you to a gas station.
Updated October 20, 2026. Prices are live from Shynit.
First, get safe
- If you are on a road, turn on your hazard lights.
- If you can, move the car off the road, away from moving traffic. If you cannot, stay well away from passing cars while you wait.
- If anyone is hurt or in danger, call 911 first.
Emergency fuel delivery
Enough fuel brought to you to reach a station. Fuel is billed at cost.
- Open the Shynit app and choose what you need.
- Share where you are. You see the price before you confirm.
- The nearest available Shyner accepts and comes to you. You can track them on the live map.
- Fuel delivery service fee: $49.00. $49 + fuel
- After-hours: $69.00. $69 + fuel
Then fill up
The fuel brought to you is enough to reach a station, not a full tank, so head to the nearest one and fill up.
